ABOUT THE JOB:
A manufacturing facility in the Wilmington, NC area needs a HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The HR Generalist reports to the HR Manager. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who desires to be a change leader impacting the results for the large business unit which they support. The successful candidate should be prepared for HR leadership positions.
Act with line management in instituting work system improvements which positively impact business profitability and raise employee engagement. Educate coach and counsel members of the organization on job performance, employee development and diversity. Identify training and education needs and initiate cost effective delivery systems. Educate and coach line management on company policy work rules, as well as federal and state regulations. Represent management in labor relations, including interpretation, administration and negotiation support of collective bargaining agreement.
BS Degree required. Must have a minimum of 7 years HR experience in manufacturing. Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in labor relations, negotiations, grievances.
The starting base salary range for this position is $92k-$102k. Full benefits package. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
